Solid Surface material is a composite man-made material that in 70-80% is composed of aluminium hydroxide and natural rocks and minerals – mainly of granite and quartz. Aluminium hydroxide is received from bauxite – naturally occurring sedimentary rock. The remaining 20-30% are additional materials.

These additional materials contain acrylic resin (PMMA) – a synthetic methyl methacrylate polymer (which joins individual components and gives the material proper toughness) and colouring pigments (which ensure aesthetics and stability of colours). A wide range of available sheets and thicknesses, as well as wealth of colours give this product a huge advantage on the market.
